During my career I’ve collected more years of product experience than I’d like to admit. I’ve founded several startups and led product teams at some of the hottest scale-ups and global software giants. During this time, I’ve encountered many different flavours of product management and had the incredible fortune to work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the field.

Being a producteer by heart, I am driven by the desire to create impact through my work. That extends to shaping top-notch product teams, offering guidance and mentorship to product professionals. But after working with scores of product managers, product leads and founders, I couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling that something was amiss. Many of these teams should have possessed all the right ingredients: skilled and experienced individuals, ripe market opportunities, ample resources, and a shared vision. Yet, they found themselves grappling with inefficiency, growing frustration, dwindling quality and innovation, decreased productivity, higher turnover, and escalating costs. The recurring pattern I observed was strikingly clear and straightforward: exceptional teams were hindered by subpar leadership. About Andreas

Andreas brings more than two decades of experience in building, leading and scaling (SaaS) product teams at startups, scale-ups, and international corporations. At fast-paced companies like Citrix, LogMeIn, SoundCloud and Navan he launched numerous zero-to-one products, managed large portfolios and gained hands-on expertise leading innovation, strategy, product management, UX and M&A. Currently, Andreas is the VP Product at Navan, the all-in-one business travel and expense solution, an executive advisor to Umazi, the decentralised corporate identity network and an active mentor and coach to founders, senior product leaders and product executives across the globe. He holds a Bachelor of Technical Computer Sciences from University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, Germany. Andreas is passionate about building products that users love and developing highly efficient teams to unlock sustainable growth.
